To apply with Mickey’s Home, you must be at least 18 years old and submit your application through our secure online portal. Every adult who will be living in the home is required to complete their own application. To avoid unnecessary application fees, we only process one application group at a time for each property.
Yes — if you’re not local, Mickey’s Home offers virtual and online tours with one of our property managers through live video calls, so you can view the home from anywhere before applying.

Yes. All tenants are required to sign a lease agreement, either online or in person by appointment. Most of our lease terms are 12 months and outline the responsibilities of both the tenant and the management team throughout your stay.
The security deposit is based on the application and background results. Our system allows us to calculate risks factors and usually the deposit amount is between 1 and 2 months’ rent. This must be paid in full before your move-in date.
Rent is due on the first day of each month. Mickey’s Home provides multiple secure and convenient ways to pay:

Mail a check or money order to our office (please include your property address and unit number)
Make a payment in person at any Regions or Chase Bank
At Mickey’s Home, rent changes are usually reviewed at the end of your lease term. Any adjustments are based on current market conditions and internal evaluations, and you will always receive advance notice before any change takes effect.
No. We are unable to waive late rent fees, as our policy must be applied consistently and fairly for all residents.

Yes, roommates are allowed, but every occupant must complete the full application and approval process. This includes submitting an application, paying the required fee, and passing the screening requirements. Any unauthorized occupants are considered a violation of the lease agreement.
At Mickey’s Home, a maintenance emergency is any situation that puts safety at risk or could cause significant property damage. This includes issues such as:
Burst pipes or active water leaks
Heating or air conditioning failures during extreme temperatures
Fire or gas leaks (always call 911 first)

At Mickey’s Home, pet policies depend on the specific lease agreement. If you currently have a pet and would like to add another, you must contact our office for approval first. All pet requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis according to your lease terms.
At Mickey’s Home, tenants may not change or add locks without written approval. If you would like new locks installed, please submit a request in advance. All lock changes must be completed by an approved contractor, and the cost will be the tenant’s responsibility.
Yes. Mickey’s Home may enter the property with proper notice when necessary for repairs, inspections, or access for service providers such as insurance or maintenance professionals. Whenever possible, we make every effort to schedule visits when a resident is available.
